Late Cretaceous Crocodile Collection
This fossil set includes a scute (osteoderm) and two completely original teeth of a 66 million year old crocodile. These fossils are likely from Leidyosuchus which was a common crocodile found in the Late Cretaceous sediments of the Hell Creek Formation. The crocodiles of the Hell Creek Formation lived alongside many of the iconic dinosaurs such as Tyrannosaurus rex, Triceratops, and Acheroraptor.
