Triceratops Tooth and Bone Fragment

These fossils were found in the Hell Creek Formation of North Dakota and are approximately 66 million years old. Triceratops was a large herbivorous dinosaur with many teeth and dense bones. After its teeth are worn down by heavy chewing, they are shed and replaced by new ones.
